    Abstract

    The paper proposes that Christianity has a useful contribution to make to current debates about environmental and ecological concerns. It seeks to tread a middle path between Dominion and Deep Ecology approaches to the issues, showing that this path has been trodden before - and by a mainstream theological tradition in Christian thinking.
